FRED ARCHER RACING have three runners on Friday and Saturday. We hope SPANISH ARCHER runs as well as he did in his previous race when he heads off to Newcastle for the 1m2f (1m2f42y) Capital Allowances Consultants Ltd Novice Stakes (Class 5) (3yo+). It has some useful looking horses in it including Middays son Midi who won his last start and Formula One of Hugo Palmers who won his last start. Our fella still has a lot of growing up to do but we were thrilled with his win at Nottingham and we like him and hope he has a long term future.
On Saturday we have MASTER ARCHER who is going back to Chester which is where he won. He will have top weight but the ground will be good and David Probert, who rode him at York, will be on him again. He looks fantastic and he seems to be thriving on his racing so we hope for another good run. THE PINTO KID is heading back to Lingfield where he has already run twice for the Lucky Last!! George Wood is on him and knows him well.

Our two winners from last weekend, MAGICAL DREAMER who the handicapper put up 8lbs and is now rated 98 and EXCELLED have come out of their races in excellent form. We would love to get some black type for MAGICAL DREAMER now and we will give EXCELLED a couple of weeks before finding her another race somewhere.
We had a couple of teams of media people here today filming THE TIN MAN and interviewing James prior to The 32Red Sprint Cup Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series). Tom Stanley came from RUK and did an interview with James and Chris from JSC one for 32Red who are the sponsors next Saturday.
James does not have to scour the programme book looking for races for THE TIN MAN as his season has been virtually the same for the last few years. It has always included The Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot, The 32 Red Sprint Cup and The Qipco Champion Sprint so his partners have had an exciting time with him for the past four years. We are praying the weather will be better than it has been for the last two years when the ground was soft one year and heavy the next and he really likes good to firm. His turn of foot is better over the firmer ground.
The FRED ARCHER STRING string is looking is looking great at the moment and even though we have had some cold mornings their coats are still pretty good.
