INGREDIENTS
2 cups of chickpeas (I hulled them out of the can)
4 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 tbsp almond butter
1/4 cup maple syrup – proper stuff!
1 tsp vanilla extract
Put all ingredients into a food processor and puree until smooth.
Spoon out and fridge. This can make it quite solid so ensure you take it out a good 10 minutes before you want to use it.
Spread onto rice cakes, crackers, apple slices, banana etc. We spread ours onto the top of the energy bars…this was a bit sickly but worked an absolute dream just before a swimming lesson!
