We were looking for a place to stay in the Saffron Walden área, but looked to avoid your typical chain hotels. This traditional pub and inn was the perfect find. The surroundings were beautiful, the staff were warm and friendly and the room was really very nice, one of the best we have stayed at on our trip so far. The breakfast served every morning was also very good, and included with the room.
