Quiet on the runners front but busy behind the scenes

WE haven’t had any action on the track in recent weeks but the Moulton Racing team of horses are undergoing their groundwork ahead of the start of the flat season in six weeks time.

The just-turned two year olds: Spiritual Leader, X Free Love and X Little Bubbles are continuing their education with plenty of cantering on the grass and it is always exciting seeing how much  they progress in such a short amount of time.

Dynamic Charge is likely to be our next runner . The son of Land Force finished fourth on debut in December and can hopefully build on that effort when he lines up in a restricted novice at Southwell on 28 February.

In the meantime we are looking forward to following the Tom Clover-trained horses in their big-race assignments in the Middle East. Rogue Lightning takes on the Durkhan Sprint in Qatar on February 15 whilst a week later Al Nayyir is due to contest the Red Sea Turf in Qatar.
