The Wales family have lived at Home Farm, which is Grade II listed, since 2005. The pale brick farmhouse with its unique Gothic style windows was designed by the renowned architect William Donthorn as a model farm to Marham House situated behind a tall wall on the opposite side of the road, famous for hosting many private visits by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) with his mistress Lily Langtree.
The farm is considerably smaller these days and has a thriving DIY livery business providing board and lodging to a number of horses and ponies along with resident sheep, chickens and guinea fowl.
Home Farm has a small ten-acre wood which has undergone some unique conservation work thanks to local schools who use it as an outdoor classroom every week during term time. Home to over 40 different species of birds along with a host of other wild life it is an enjoyable place to enjoy a stroll.
